Job summary

Leaders in Care Recruitment is seeking a Registered Manager to lead a complex care service across Sussex with expansion into Surrey. Based at the Lewes office, you will manage an experienced team delivering paediatric and adult community care, focusing on compliance, governance and growth.

You'll oversee CQC-regulated activities, build relationships with commissioners and NHS bodies, and drive sustainable service development while maintaining high-quality care and staff engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering operational delivery, quality and compliance.
• Strong understanding of CQC requirements, safeguarding and risk management.
• Commercial awareness including referrals, tenders or growth.

Responsibilities

• Take operational responsibility for the CQC-registered service, ensuring safe, effective and high-quality care.
• Lead and support Clinical Leads, Nurse Case Managers and Care Coordinators.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of paediatric and adult community complex care.
• Maintain standards across CQC compliance, safeguarding, governance and risk management.
• Work with clinical colleagues to mobilise new care packages safely and maintain effective oversight of existing services.
• Build relationships with NHS ICBs, commissioners, local authorities, case managers and healthcare professionals.
• Work alongside Business Development colleagues on referrals, tenders and new opportunities.
• Partner with Recruitment colleagues to ensure staffing supports safe, sustainable service growth.
