Job Summary

As a Senior Commercial Strategy Manager, you'll lead the commercial strategy and deal architecture for the ESN portfolio, shaping commercial outcomes on high-value negotiations and strategic initiatives. Thia role operates as a senior SME across complex commercial, contracts and bids, ensuring BT Group value, risk balance and regulatory compliance.,

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the commercial P&L view for strategic initiatives; drive translation into customer and contract schedules.
  • Identify and manage commercial, regulatory and political risks; ensure alignment with BT Group risk policy.
  • Engage senior BT executives, customer leadership, advisors and external stakeholders to secure approvals.
  • Extensive experience leading complex large commercial negotiations.
  • Experience of working with the Public Sector - extensive knowledge of Public Procurement regulations and policies.
  • Have strong financial modelling, P&L ownership, sensitivity/scenario analysis.
  • Have an understanding of public procurement policies and the mobile network technology.
  • Show that you are a self-starter-able to originate, shape and land proposals at pace.
  • Proven project planning and cross-functional leadership in regulated environments.
