Job summary

AWE plc in Reading, Berkshire is seeking a Senior Commercial Process and Tools Manager to oversee the design, integration and governance of commercial processes, tools and data across the lifecycle.

You will lead on process mapping, data management and system enablement, drive user adoption, train stakeholders and ensure compliance with government standards. This role offers hybrid working and a strong pension and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have proven professional experience.
• Experience of working in a Procurement / Commercial function.
• Experience in Procurement / Commercial process design and implementation.
• Experience developing systems requirements and/or implementing new systems or delivering systems improvement initiatives.
• Experience of master data management within large or complex organisations.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiencies.
• Process mapping and process controls expertise.
• A natural analytical thinker with ability to align business priorities to commercial outcomes.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, with ability to create business alignment and influence decision making.
• Knowledge of data architecture principles and ability to design and enforce data management standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own an area of the Commercial process, tools and technology landscape and ensure interdependencies are joined up.
• Drive Commercial user adoption and provide training within scope.
• Ensure continuous improvement across processes, tools and systems, keeping them fit for purpose and aligned to best practices.
• Create and own Commercial tools and templates and enable effective use across Commercial.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance across systems in line with policies.
• Understand impact of system and process changes on data structures and ensure robust data models.
• Collaborate with IS to digitally enable commercial processes and ensure fit-for-purpose systems.
• Coordinate with Governance teams to update changes in policy and compliance within processes and systems.
