Job summary

Bovis is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Manager) to oversee the commercial delivery on a major project in the Northern home counties. You will lead procurement, post-contract management and pre-construction activities, ensuring value and risk controls are effectively applied across works packages.

You will drive accurate reporting, cost forecasting, and contract administration while maintaining safety, client satisfaction, and business reputation.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication to influence and build relationships.
• Ability to influence and lead teams and manage claims.
• Experience with tendering and subcontract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial activities for the project.
• Procurement of packages, ensuring value and proper contracting.
• Manage change accounts, cashflows and final accounting.
• Ensure delivery is safe, timely, and within client expectations.
• Liaise with Client team and manage supply chain relationships.
