Job summary

Bovis is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager (Commercial Lead) for a major refurbishment/retrofit project in Central London. You will drive procurement, manage complex commercial matters, and lead the on-site commercial team to deliver value, safety and quality in line with contract requirements.

You will oversee interim payments, change control, cashflow management and final accounting, reporting to the Commercial Director and ensuring client expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Pre-construction experience on major projects.
• Experience on projects above £30m in value.
• Proven track record delivering construction projects safely.
• Procurement of work packages per Procurement Strategy.
• Preparation of Subcontracts within limits of authority.
• Ability to read drawings and construction information.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of the project per approved strategy and contract limits.
• Liaise with Client team per Contract.
• Manage supply chain relationships for consistent procurement.
• Implement and manage commercial, legal, insurance and risk controls.
• Provide accurate commercial reporting and contract administration.
• Handle interim payments, change accounts, cashflows, and final accounting.
• Ensure safe, timely, efficient project delivery and client satisfaction.
• Report to Commercial Director and lead the on-site commercial team.
