Job summary

Une entreprise de conseil soutient un client au sein du gouvernement central à la recherche d'un Senior Commercial Manager pour une mission de 6 mois avec possibilité de prolongation. Le candidat idéal doit avoir une expérience solide en gestion commerciale dans le secteur public, notamment dans la négociation de contrats complexes et l'utilisation d'outils d'e-procurement. Ce rôle hybride nécessite également un certificat SC actif.

Qualifications

• Expérience dans l'approvisionnement de bout en bout au sein du secteur public.
• Antécédents dans la gestion commerciale au sein de la défense ou du gouvernement central.
• Expérience dans les négociations de contrats complexes.

Responsibilities

• Gérer les processus commerciaux/procurement de A à Z.
• Développer des stratégies de risque et effectuer des négociations avant/après attribution.
• Travailler sur des cas d'affaires conformément au cadre Green Book du HMT.

Senior Commercial Manager - Central Government

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting a client within Central Government who is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for an initial 6-month assignment, with the possibility of extension.

Location: London | Hybrid Working

The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance and have a solid background in Lead or Senior Commercial Management, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in end-to-end procurement within the public sector.
• Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and related regulations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end commercial/procurement processes, from strategy development to contract award, specifically within the Defence or Central Government sectors.
• Experience in delivering complex overseas Facilities Management (FM) procurements and conducting contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in developing risk strategies and executing pre/post-award negotiations.
• Familiarity with business cases in accordance with HMT's Green Book framework.
• Experience with e-procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, or Coupa.
• Professional certifications in CIPS, IACCM, or similar commercial/procurement qualifications.
