Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to act as the commercial lead for a portfolio of projects within the Asset Intelligence business, with a focus on delivery at Stansted Airport. You will oversee cost control, cash flow, procurement, change, and governance while protecting the company’s commercial position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction/infrastructure.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Experience with NEC and/or JCT contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the commercial lead for an agreed portfolio of projects within Asset Intelligence.
• Provide commercial leadership at Stansted Airport and site visits.
• Maintain cash flow forecasts, spend profiles, and variance analysis.
• Lead CVRs, cost reports, and month-end submissions.
• Lead procurement and tendering for subcontract packages.
• Negotiate and administer client and subcontract terms.
• Manage compensation events, variations and change control.
• Oversee time extensions and loss and expense entitlements.
• Chair commercial meetings and maintain auditable records.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
