Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the Asset Intelligence team in Stansted. You will support the Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor in delivering commercial duties across Asset Intelligence, focusing on project delivery at Stansted.

You will assist with cash flow forecasting, budget monitoring, subcontractor payment processes and commercial governance while adhering to Galliford Try standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or working towards QS qualification.
• Basic understanding of cost control, measurement and reporting.
• Awareness of NEC contracts preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the commercial management of Asset Intelligence projects and support the QS team.
• Monitor progress, risks, changes and commercial impacts with project teams.
• Attend site regularly to support measurements, record-keeping and communication with site personnel.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, client applications, budget monitoring and financial reporting.
