Job summary

Galliford Try is seeking a Design Manager - Aviation to lead and coordinate electrical and building services design for the Asset Intelligence Aviation business at Stansted. You will guide the team to deliver safe, compliant and innovative engineering solutions, working with clients, design partners and the supply chain across the project lifecycle.

You will provide technical leadership, ensure buildable designs, and drive continuous improvement through digital engineering and best practice,

Qualifications

• Design leadership experience across complex projects.
• Strong aviation/building services standards knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the design team.
• Oversee design resource planning to support project delivery.
• Ensure all design activities comply with legislation, CDM and standards.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams, clients and suppliers.
• Lead technical reviews, site visits and engagement with design partners.
