Job summary

Marsh Commercial in London is seeking an experienced Client Advisor (Account Handler) for a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least three days a week. As part of the team, you will support Client Executives on insurance renewals and manage client queries effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Handler/Broker role with commercial insurance background.
• Good awareness of client business issues and service plans.

Responsibilities

• Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals.
• Request and review underwriting information on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate market presentations.
• Negotiate renewal terms with insurers using online systems.
• Collaborate with teams for client reports.
• Produce Insurer documentation.
• Review and comment on Insurance clauses.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Role:

Client Advisor (Account Handler)

This position would suit an experienced Account Handler/Client Advisor with a background in Commercial or Corporate insurance having worked in a Handler/Broker type role previously.

Responsibilities:

• Support Marsh Client Executives regarding placement strategy for insurance renewals and administer mid-term changes to risk
• Request and review underwriting information on behalf of Commercial clients and understand their requirements
• Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips in consultation with the Client Executives and the Placement Team
• Utilise Marsh online trading systems to collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers
• Collaborate with Client Executives and Placement Teams to prepare client reports for renewals
• Produce and/or request Insurer documentation
• Review and comment on Indemnity and Insurance clauses

What you need to have:

• Proven experience of working on the full renewal process of commercial insurance programs
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
• A good awareness of clients’ business, their business issues, insurance programmes and service plans
