Howden UK Brokers Limited seeks a Senior Account Handler to join its Commercial team in Milton Keynes. The role involves managing new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments, delivering professional advice to corporate clients, and collaborating within a large, supportive team.

You will be based in Milton Keynes office 3 days a week, with a strong emphasis on client service, precision, and proactive cross-selling across divisions. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of General Insurance and GDPR.
• Minimum 5 years commercial insurance experience.
• Acturis knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in achieving client retention targets with excellent service.
• Liaise with Client Director/Account Executive for renewal strategy.
• Undertake market exercise to secure the most competitive terms.
• Acquire renewal terms and present to client.
• Issue renewal documentation and ensure contract certainty.
• Ensure premiums are collected in line with procedures.
• Record information and document accordingly in the system.
• Produce professional documentation using templates.
• Cross-sell products across divisions.
