Job summary
Brown & Brown in Solihull is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, focusing on renewals and new business opportunities. You will develop introducer relationships, generate leads, and expand the account while delivering high levels of client service and risk management guidance.
A minimum of 5+ years in commercial insurance is expected, with driving licence and Cert CII progress encouraged.
Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
- Ability to handle new business enquiries, renewals and midterm adjustments.
- Good understanding of commercial insurance products and options.
- Progress towards Cert CII is encouraged.
- Full driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Achieve new business & renewal targets; engage with marketing and leads.
- Develop introducer relationships; generate own leads and manage new business pipeline.
- Manage ongoing relationships with existing clients; provide high levels of service.
- Look to expand accounts by identifying cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
- Attend client visits and complete fact-finding documents for new business.
- Renewal business: review documentation and update client files and requirements.
- Negotiate with underwriters and finalize broking notes with the team.
