This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact role at the centre of a commercial finance team. As a Senior Analyst within the Business Analysis function, you'll play a key part in shaping strategic decisions, supporting big investments, and driving real change across the business.

What’s the role about?

Some of the questions you'll explore include:

• Does adding more store payroll lead to better sales?
• What’s the actual value of Click & Collect?
• How does product mix influence store performance?
• How can we use data to improve merchandise protection?
• What’s happening in the wider retail market—and how do we compare?

This role involves analyzing these challenges using smart analysis, storytelling with data, and partnering across the organization. You’ll collaborate with teams like Marketing, Operations, Property, Buying, Ecommerce, and more, with your work influencing senior leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing financial and analytical support to various departments
• Partnering with managers and analysts to deliver insights that inform decisions
• Challenging assumptions and recommending improvements
• Creating financial models and business cases for initiatives
• Supporting test-and-learn trials and analyzing outcomes
• Offering insights into industry trends and competitors

Qualifications and skills:

• Strong analytical mindset and passion for data-driven problem solving
• Experience in building financial or business models
• Proactive, curious approach—thinking ahead beyond briefs
• Excellent communication skills for complex data explanation
• Ability to work with large, complex data sets from multiple sources
• Proficiency in Excel; Power BI or similar tools are a plus
• Experience in retail or consumer-facing environments is preferred
• Relevant qualifications (accounting, business, MBA) or equivalent experience
