Senior Commercial Finance Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Analyst for our Commercial Finance team.

This role is part of the Commercial Finance team responsible for financial planning and performance management across the business, collaborating with senior management to understand and model business drivers.

The role

As a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be a key business partner, providing financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities include:

1. Business partnering: Providing financial support and analysis to stakeholders, developing a detailed understanding of business operations to support and challenge decision-makers.
2. FlexiPay product: Contributing to financial models projecting loan issuance and profitability, and interpreting outputs from the Risk team regarding loss forecasts.
3. Financial modeling: Developing and maintaining models for planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
4. Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management, highlighting business performance and trends.
5. Data analysis: Identifying opportunities for efficiency, profitability, and growth improvements.
6. Risk management: Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, issues, or control weaknesses.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Experience in the financial services industry, including IFRS 9 principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
