About this role

As a key player in our Commercial Finance team, you will be a business partner to the UK Strategic Accounts team, understanding trading performance and providing insightful analysis to help inform business decisions and drive the success of our Strategic Accounts portfolio.

You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, leveraging strong data skills and commercial acumen to understand and help manage and optimise P&L performance. This role will report directly to a Finance Lead and you will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders from Key Account Managers to data-driven digital specialists.

Location: Hybrid- 3 days a week from our London office & 2 days working from home

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Commercial Finance Business Partner to the UK Strategic Accounts team, understanding and analysing business performance as well as providing data driven insights to drive growth.
• Support the development, implementation, and management of commercial initiatives and programs.
• Own development and maintenance of trading reports and dashboards to track KPI's and performance metrics. Ensuring accuracy and consistency and highlighting risks and opportunities from forward looking analysis.
• Assist Partnerships team on financial modelling for key commercial deals, ensuring financial investment and benefit is clearly understood to inform decision making.
• Support in the review of business cases to ensure robust calculation and commercial logic, challenging and refining assumptions, and ensuring financial/commercial risks are clearly understood to help guide the business toward optimal trading decisions.
• Own monthly financial reporting providing insightful analysis and commentary.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes working cross functionally with teams in sales, marketing and trading.

What will you bring to the table?

• Recently qualified with CIMA/ACCA/ACA
• Strong in Excel and financial modelling
• Enjoys working with data and comfortable dealing with messy unstructured data
• High level of attention to detail
• Understands how to automate repetitive problems and tasks, focusing on optimisation
• Deliver reports, analysis and insights that drive operational excellence
• Team player with good interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to multitask, work to tight deadlines and prioritise competing demands
