The role oversees creation, negotiation, and execution of contracts with suppliers, contractors, and service providers involved in development, refurbishment, and maintenance of social housing properties.

The position requires 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts within housing, construction, or public procurement, with strong negotiation and risk-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in managing commercial contracts, ideally within housing, construction, or public sector.
• Strong ability to negotiate terms and conditions with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to secure favourable terms.

Responsibilities

• Provide estimates/costs to client as required.
• Request quotations from subcontractors where required.
• Send all orders to subcontractors with agreed rates.
• Agree subcontractors variations and sign-off variations and orders.
• Commercially code all works completed via service connect.
