Housing Association is seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist to lead contract management for a portfolio of complex, high-value agreements. You will mobilise contracts, manage delivery and performance, implement changes, and handle risk across the contract lifecycle.

A central point of contact will liaise with finance, H&S and procurement to ensure compliance. Key responsibilities include overseeing contract transitions, supplier performance, and KPI adherence, with monthly reviews for major

Qualifications

• Expert understanding of contract management and SRM within end-to-end lifecycle.
• Experience in compiling contracts and contract design within a legal framework.
• Experience in contract change control processes.
• Experience managing contract lifecycles with a supply chain.
• Significant experience in commercial contracting and subcontracting.
• Ability to plan, track, and forecast income and expenditure for value-for-money.
• Ability to analyze business information and drive improvements with metrics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of Microsoft Office skills.

Responsabilités

• Own and maintain the Property Services contracting database.
• Oversee a portfolio of live contracts across Property Services.
• Manage and communicate contract changes, notices, extensions and innovations.
• Coordinate contractual documentation sign-off with Procurement.
• Provide commercial guidance and liaise with external legal advice when needed.
• Oversee payment assessments, supplier performance and audits.
• Ensure adherence to contract KPIs and provide performance feedback.
• Represent the commercial team at monthly reviews for contracts over £5m.
• Collaborate with finance, health and safety, and procurement for compliance.
• Be the central contact for operational portfolio leads on commercial issues.
