Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking a Senior Coaching and Experience Officer to support the wellbeing and academic success of students on our engineering and technology programmes at the Dyson technology campus in Malmesbury. You will act as a designated contact for a cohort, providing proactive coaching, guidance and case coordination under the Coaching and Experience Team.

You will lead 1:1 sessions, contribute to development days and collaborate with Dyson staff and external services to ensure

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level, equivalent or qualified by experience.
• Training or certification in coaching, mentoring, professional development or student success practices.
• Previous experience in higher or further education, youth work or a related field.
• Ability to build rapport, listen actively and hold psychologically safe conversations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured coaching and mentoring to support academic, professional and personal growth.
• Contribute to design and delivery of Professional Development Days.
• Use active listening and solution‑focused techniques in coaching.
• Identify learner needs and tailor coaching strategies to support development.
• Promote resilience and wellbeing literacy alongside student wellbeing.
