Dyson Institute is seeking a Senior Coaching and Experience Officer to support student wellbeing, development and success. You will act as a designated point of contact for cohorts, provide proactive guidance, coaching and case coordination, and collaborate with Dyson teams and external services.

The role includes leading specialist portfolio areas such as mental health, disability, international mobility and safeguarding, with a focus on evidence-informed practice and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level, equivalent or qualified by experience.
• Training or certification in coaching, mentoring, professional development or student success practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured coaching and mentoring to support academic, professional and personal growth.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of Professional Development Days.
• Use active listening and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Identify learner needs and tailor coaching strategies to support development.
• Provide 1:1 guidance on wellbeing and safeguarding matters.
• Maintain accurate, confidential case notes.
• Lead specialist portfolio initiatives and policy development.
• Collaborate with Dyson staff and external services.
