Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking a motivated Coaching and Experience Officer based on the Malmesbury campus to support students’ academic, personal and professional development. You will coach, mentor and coordinate casework, safeguarding, and wellbeing with a proactive, collaborative approach.

You will join a passionate Coaching and Experience Team focused on inclusion, resilience and personal growth within a high‑quality higher education setting.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level, equivalent or qualified by experience.
• Training or certification in coaching, mentoring, professional development or student success practices.
• Experience in higher or further education, youth work or related field.
• Experience in 1:1 coaching/mentoring or professional development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, prevent, risk management and adult/student protection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured coaching and mentoring to support academic, professional and personal growth.
• Contribute to design and delivery of Professional Development Days.
• Provide 1:1 guidance on mental health, wellbeing, disability and transitions.
• Maintain confidential case notes and manage a diverse caseload.
• Escalate safeguarding concerns and coordinate appropriate support.
