Job summary

DXC Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Administrator in Gloucestershire to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based and on‑premise infrastructure. You will lead migrations, ensure high availability, and drive security, governance, and optimization across environments.

The role requires strong cloud and virtualization expertise, hands-on automation, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support digital transformation for diverse clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT infrastructure with at least 3 years in cloud administration.
• Strong expertise across public and private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMware).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage, networking and security solutions.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of Active Directory, IAM and IT security best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and performance issues.
• Ability to manage projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure services.
• Lead migration efforts and optimize cloud environments for performance and security.
• Ensure high availability, monitoring, and incident response for infrastructure.
