Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Platform Architect for the System Design Team in Farnborough. The role focuses on governance and design assurance across private cloud, virtualization, container platforms, compute, storage, networking and shared services.

You will coordinate with security, delivery partners and stakeholders to ensure secure, coherent designs that support the broader solution.

Qualifications

• Substantial IT infrastructure experience in architecture roles.
• Experience generating and assuring Service Designs and HLDs in complex environments.
• Credible customer-facing experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to infrastructure and platform viewpoints within the end-to-end Solution Architecture.
• Review and assure supplier designs against requirements, standards and direction.
• Provide architecture guidance for container platforms (OpenShift, Tanzu) and IaC practices.
• Engage with customer stakeholders to present options, risks and recommendations.
