Job summary

DXC Technology seeks an experienced Applications Architect to join the Hampshire-based Digital Applications Transformation team. You will shape enterprise architecture roadmaps, guide development teams, and deliver secure, scalable solutions across EDRMS, client-side packaging, and server-side services.

In this role you’ll work in a fast-moving environment that values collaboration, security-by-design, and continual modernization of complex applications and platforms for diverse client

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Applications Architect, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture principles.
• Experience supporting large-scale EDRMS projects.
• Knowledge of OpenText, IBM FileNet or similar platforms.
• Experience with COTS, GOTS and bespoke environments.
• Understanding of deployment, packaging and configuration management.
• Experience with private cloud-hosted apps and web-based architectures.
• Knowledge of databases, integrations and web technologies.
• Ability to produce architectural artefacts (HLDs and service designs).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Understanding of secure design and lifecycle management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and oversight for EDRMS and content management platforms.
• Design secure hosting models for desktop and end-user apps, ensure packaging standards.
• Develop secure, scalable server-side services in private cloud and web environments.
• Identify opportunities for modernization and service improvement.
• Collaborate with security architects and delivery teams within SAFe Agile contexts.
