Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Public Sector team in the UK. You will help central government, public safety, transport and state-owned organisations with cloud architectures and disruptive technologies.

You will own the technical relationship with customers, advise on security, cost, performance, reliability and best-practice architectures, and advocate for customer needs to inform AWS product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Experience communicating with executive stakeholders or clients.
• Experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• Eligible and willing to undergo UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers and advise on security, cost, performance, reliability and best-practice architectures.
• Advocate for the customer to inform AWS roadmaps and feed requirements to product teams.
• Help shape the Solutions Architecture organisation by mentoring others and contributing to hiring and coaching.
• Create and share best practices, reference architectures, and technical content.
