Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Public Sector team in the UK. You will own the technical relationship with customers, advise on security, cost, performance, and reliable architectures, and help shape AWS features and services by feeding customer needs back to the roadmap.

You will evangelize AWS technology through workshops, content, and reference architectures, and mentor peers as the Solutions Architecture organization grows in the UK public sector market.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and AWS services.
• Ability to communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with AWS customers, advising on security, cost, performance, reliability, and best-practice architectures.
• Advocate for customer needs to inform AWS roadmap and help hire, mentor, and coach others.
