Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect to join our Public Sector team in the UK. You will own complex cloud architectures, advise on security, cost, performance and reliability, and help customers deliver mission-critical outcomes.

You will influence roadmaps, coach peers, and share best practices across the AWS Solutions Architect community, including documenting reference architectures and leading workshops.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in design, implementation or consulting of cloud-based applications and infrastructures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
• Experience in cloud architecture and related technology domains.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers and recommend secure, cost-efficient, high-performance architectures.
• Advocate for customer needs to inform AWS feature roadmaps and platform improvements.
• Mentor and coach others; help shape the Solutions Architecture organization and share best practices and reference architectures.
