Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced technical manager to lead a solutions architecture team serving UK Public Sector Transport and Central Government customers. You will hire, coach, and develop senior architects, shaping a strategy to expand AWS adoption and value.

You will partner with account management, service teams, marketing and professional services to deliver reference architectures and drive customer success, staying ahead of cloud innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals.
• Experience in cloud architecture and CXO-level engagement.
• Experience developing technology solutions and end-to-end roadmaps for cloud IT transformations.
• Experience architecting migrations and modernization to the cloud.
• Eligible for government security vetting to SC level.

Responsibilities

• Hire and develop Solutions Architects and managers.
• Coach architects to conduct technical sessions for diverse customers using AWS.
• Formulate and execute a customer-focused strategy to enable and accelerate adoption of AWS.
• Thought leadership through public speaking, workshops and written content.
• Develop and own senior level technical customer relationships.
• Own the technical strategy to increase customer value and adoption of AWS solutions.
• Act as a conduit between customers, service engineering teams, partners, professional services and support.
