Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Solutions Architect for the UK Public Sector to lead technical relationships with government and educational customers. You will shape secure, cost-efficient, high-performance cloud architectures and drive successful outcomes for public sector organisations.

You will incubate best practices, mentor team members, and contribute to AWS reference architectures while engaging in workshops and technical evangelism across the AWS community.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in cloud architectures
• Ability to communicate to senior management and clients
• Willingness to undergo UK Security Clearance and residency requirements

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers, advising on security, cost, performance, and reliability
• Advocate for customer needs to inform AWS feature roadmaps and mentor others
• Contribute to cloud-native reference architectures and share best practices with the AWS community
• Educate customers about AWS technology through workshops, meetups, and content creation
