Job summary
Standard Life is seeking a principal-level cloud platform engineer to own the engineering direction for our cloud customer contact platform across AWS, Amazon Connect and Salesforce Voice. You will set strategy, guardrails and architecture decisions, working with security, risk and operations to ensure resilient, compliant service delivery at enterprise scale.

Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on platform engineering in AWS with enterprise-scale services.
- Experience with Amazon Connect architecture, telephony, integrations and security.
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Salesforce Voice or similar CRM.
- Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, APIs and automation.
- Strong leadership, cross-team collaboration and ability to set technical strategy.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision, roadmap and platform standards for cloud contact services across AWS, Amazon Connect and Salesforce Voice/Agent Desktop.
- Design and deliver secure, resilient Amazon Connect services and data flows.
- Lead integration of Amazon Connect with Salesforce and wider Salesforce platform for coherent agent experience.
- Build reusable infrastructure and deployment automation using IaC, CI/CD, APIs and scripting.
- Govern AWS services to enable integrations, analytics and operational control; manage observability and cost controls.
