Job summary

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level for Cockermouth Community Hospital. The role involves delivering high-quality care, supporting patients with complex needs, and aiding discharge and reablement in the community.

Daily 12-hour shifts are required (07:00–19:30 and 19:00–07:30). Relocation support and DBS checks are part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent in patient care duties.
• Theoretical knowledge of care procedures and data protection.
• Experience with clinical observations and recording patient information.

Responsibilities

• Undertake delegated patient nursing and care duties under supervision.
• Support patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Assess, plan and implement care in the community setting, and document activities.
