Job summary

NCIC is recruiting a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level – Community at Cockermouth Community Hospital. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients with complex needs in the community, helping prevent hospital admissions and supporting early discharge.

Daily shifts are 12 hours (07:00-19:30 and 19:00-07:30). This is a permanent, full-time or part-time post within NHS AfC Band 3 staffing, with a focus on flexible, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience in health or social care.
• Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to undertake and record clinical observations.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Carry out delegated nursing and care duties including clinical observations and recording patient information.
• Undertake nursing procedures under direction of a registered professional.
• Provide line management support to other team members where required.
