Job summary

As a Senior Clinical Practitioner, no two days will be the same. You will work autonomously, providing assessment, diagnostics, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients in a busy urgent care centre.

You will possess and demonstrate extended skills in managing a wide range of healthcare problems, such as minor illnesses and injuries. Exercise professional independent and clinical judgment in managing or referring clients to appropriate primary and secondary care services.

Main duties of the job:

1. Perform assessments and diagnostics.
2. Manage and treat minor illnesses and injuries.
3. Refer patients to appropriate healthcare services.

What you'll need:

• A minimum of 6 months experience as a Clinical Practitioner within the last 3 years in A&E and Walk-in Centre/Urgent Care Centre.
• Clinical Examination and Diagnostics - Level 7 qualification.
• Ability to see and treat Minor Injuries.
• Ability to clinically examine and diagnose children of all ages, including neonates.
• Evidence of Prescribing (V300), ILS/PILS certifications.
