Job summary

The Larwood Health Partnership is seeking a senior clinical post to provide leadership across four GP sites. You will line-manage clinical leads, supervise the clinical practitioner team and drive high-quality, cost-effective patient care. A Non-Medical Prescriber and five years post-registration experience are essential.

Responsibilities include weekly clinics, supervision of staff, and development of local guidelines and standards in partnership with the Practice Manager and MDT colleagues.

Qualifications

• Clinical leadership and mentorship responsibilities across a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to implement protocols and clinical guidelines within a GP setting.
• Registration with the appropriate regulatory body and current revalidation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and mentorship to the multidisciplinary team.
• Line manage the clinical leads and clinical practitioner team, including appraisals.
• Deliver effective, efficient healthcare across medicines management and chronic disease.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and review patients, including medication review.
• Provide clinical sessions in an area of interest and weekly clinics.
• Work with the Practice Manager on high-quality, cost-effective care.
• Lead changes in the clinical area and develop local guidelines and standards.
• Ensure the clinical team has the necessary skills and qualifications.
• Undertake clinical supervision of staff and communicate NHS guidance.
• Produce accurate patient records consistent with policy.
