Zusammenfassung

East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EMAS) seeks a Clinical Education & Development Specialist (Band 7) to lead high-quality education for the Emergency Operations Centre. You will shape the education plan, deliver CPD, ensure standards, and support clinical hub teams.

You will collaborate with governance, manage a team, and contribute to national policy while maintaining professional registration and on-call duties.

Qualifikationen

• HCPC registered Paramedic and/or Registered Nurse.
• L4 Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards.
• L3 Assessing Qualification or willingness to work towards.
• Portfolio of CPD evidence showing commitment to personal development.
• Relevant Healthcare related degree at Level 6 or above.
• Quality Assurance Qualification or willingness to work towards.
• Band 7 Senior Clinician experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead delivery of the EOC education plan with strategic direction and expert knowledge.
• Ensure quality, compliance and effectiveness of education programs.
• Collaborate with governance and management to develop assessment and mentoring.
• Provide educational support to EOC clinical hub colleagues and promote learning.
• Lead bespoke training for clinical hub staff, including remote/rotational clinicians.
• Deputise for Head of Education when required and manage the education team.
• Contribute to national policy, governance, and performance monitoring.
• Maintain professional registration and Tactical Commander competency; participate in on-call rota.
