Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking an Advanced Paramedic Clinical Lead (Band 8a) for West Yorkshire. This senior clinical post embeds in operational leadership teams to ensure patients receive effective care through leadership, supervision and education.

The role requires analysing performance data, leading clinical developments, mitigating risks, and delivering education programmes across teams, with responsibilities across local and Trust-wide priorities.

Qualifications

• Senior clinical leadership experience in urgent care or ambulance services.
• Evidence of delivering education programmes and CPD.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing change at scale.
• Understanding NHS policies, commissioning and budgetary processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical activity within assigned teams and monitor KPIs.
• Analyse performance data and drive local improvement plans.
• Deliver and oversee education activity, including regional priorities.
• Mitigate clinical risks and support staff development.
• Travel between YAS sites to coordinate clinical leadership.
