Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking experienced Senior Clinical Advisors for NHS 111 Integrated Urgent Care in our Rotherham and Wakefield call centres. Start dates from April 2027. Must be NMC RN1 or HCPC Paramedic registered with CPD evidence.

Training contract of 7 weeks, then permanent contract. No homeworking. Key duties include remote triage, clinical assessment and safeguarding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Evidence of CPD and substantial clinical experience across settings.
• Experience in remote clinical triage and assessment.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver objectives within strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess health and clinical needs using evidence-based practice and decision support.
• Provide high-level clinical care via telephone triage and assessment.
• Support ambulance dispatch and connection to community services.
• Participate in training, CPD opportunities and professional development.
• Work rotating shifts including after-hours with enhanced pay.
