Job summary

Hampton is seeking a Client Relationship Director to lead a team of five direct reports and oversee a portfolio of around 50 client accounts. You will build credibility with senior stakeholders and serve as a senior escalation point for key client matters, ensuring high standards of service.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on relationship activity, reporting into the senior leadership team. Office-based with some home working, salary £95,000 + up to 20% bonus.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading Client Relationship or Account Management teams in a complex B2B service environment.
• Experience managing senior-level client relationships and key accounts.
• Strong people leadership with responsibility for developing and managing established teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the confidence to operate at Director and senior leadership level.
• A strategic yet hands-on approach with day-to-day relationship activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of five direct reports across Client Relationship Management and Customer Service.
• Take overall responsibility for a portfolio of approximately 50 client accounts.
• Build strong, credible relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Act as a senior escalation point for key client matters.
• Ensure consistently high standards of client service and relationship management.
• Work with the senior management team to support wider business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen and develop existing client relationships.
• Monitor client performance, service delivery and satisfaction.
• Support the continued development of the Client Relationship function with clear structure and accountability.
• Collaborate across operational and commercial teams to ensure client expectations are understood and delivered.
