Job summary

Bracken Hill School in Nottingham is inviting applications for a Senior Cleaner to join the site team. The role runs 25 hours per week across early morning and late afternoon shifts, all year round, with duties covering a full range of cleaning tasks to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of health and safety procedures, COSHH awareness, and a flexible, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in school or care environments preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and COSHH principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
• Clean classrooms, corridors and welfare facilities on a daily basis.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safeguarding requirements.

Job Title: Senior Cleaner

Location: Bracken Hill School

Grade/Scale: Support Pay Scale

Contract: 25 hours per week, all year round - 5.30 am to 8.00 am and 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm

Bracken Hill is an all-age special school catering for children from 4-18yrs. The pupils have a wide variety of needs ranging from moderate to complex learning difficulties and some have additional behaviours.

We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and hardworking Senior Cleaner to join our site team to perform a full range cleaning duties, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions and awareness of COSHH regulations and health and hygiene procedures. We look to appoint staff who are willing to contribute fully to the life of the school and who are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
