Job summary

Bradgate Education Partnership at Broomfield Primary School is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team. The role is part-time (10 hours per week) during term time, with duties including cleaning classrooms, toilets, and common areas to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have cleaning experience, COSHH knowledge preferred, and a flexible, positive attitude. The position offers a supportive environment and opportunities to contribute to a welcoming school setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to ensure the school environment is clean, safe, welcoming, and presented to a high standard at all times.
  • Carry out daily cleaning duties, including wiping and sanitising tables and surfaces, vacuuming classrooms and other areas of the school, cleaning toilet facilities, and replenishing consumables.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school premises.
  • Complete additional cleaning tasks on a weekly, monthly, or ad hoc basis as required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate person.
  • Take pride in helping to create a positive learning environment for pupils and staff.

Grade 2 - £5,504 (pay award pending)
