Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer to join our Water team in the UK. You will lead the planning, design and delivery of critical water infrastructure projects for regulated and non-regulated sectors, including clean water, wastewater, flood resilience and environmental enhancement.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work with major frameworks such as Thames Water and United Utilities.

Qualifications

Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, preferably in water sector.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Chartered or Incorporated status or ability to pursue

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of civil engineering solutions for water and environmental projects across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Take ownership of technical work packages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality and sustainable outcomes.
Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings, and design packages.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners, acting as a trusted point of contact.
Provide guidance and mentorship to developing engineers and technicians to build team capability.
Work across disciplines to develop integrated solutions that meet client and environmental objectives.
