Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate or Associate Director Civil Water Engineer to lead major water projects in the UK, delivering planning, design and construction across regulated and non-regulated markets. You will mentor engineers, influence client strategy and help grow the water business, with opportunities for Fellowship consideration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered status with ICE or equivalent, or extensive delivery track record.
• Experience leading technical delivery in multidisciplinary environments.
• Passion for solving complex engineering challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and technical excellence.
• Water sector experience or strong understanding of UK operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and delivery of civil water solutions from feasibility to construction.
• Collaborate across disciplines to develop integrated, sustainable outcomes.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to developing engineers.
• Support project planning, resource management, and risk control.
• Contribute to business development and framework growth.
