Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is recruiting a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to lead civil design for water and environmental projects across the UK. You will drive technical delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and champion innovative, sustainable solutions.

We seek Chartered or eligible engineers with strong client engagement skills, capable of mentoring junior staff within a flexible hybrid working environment across London and other UK offices.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design and project delivery for water infrastructure.
• Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or CIWEM is preferred or achievable within 12 months.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of civil engineering solutions for water and environmental projects across all lifecycle stages.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable outcomes.
• Develop and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and designs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and project partners.
• Mentor developing engineers and technicians, supporting team capability.
