Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior/Principal Civil Water Engineer to join the Design & Advanced Technology team. You will lead civil water engineering deliverables across complex projects for major Water sector clients, with hybrid working and opportunities across the UK and internationally.

You will mentor junior staff, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality technical output throughout the project lifecycle. Flexible working and strong career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Senior/Principal level with extensive civil water experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Ability to manage timelines, budgets and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead teams of Civil Water Engineers on complex projects across hydraulics, wastewater, clean water, water reuse and pipelines.
• Produce and review technical deliverables: reports, drawings, calculations, scopes of work.
• Provide technical input into Civil Water design deliverables and project planning.
• Collaborate with clients, operational teams, stakeholders and related engineering teams.
• Mentor junior colleagues and grow Civil Water capability within the team.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, applying sound engineering judgement.
• Contribute technical expertise to bid and proposal submissions.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated solutions.
• Maintain high QA standards by checking own work and others'.
