Job summary

Morson Edge in the UK is seeking a Civil Senior Design Engineer - Environment to join our water and wastewater design team across multiple locations. You will deliver engineering designs to GT process standards, ensuring compliance with BMS and H&S regulations.

This is a technically focused role on projects with line management potential for design engineers. You will work with Principal Engineers and Design Managers, contributing to governance, supporting procurement, and mentoring early

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in Municipal Water and Wastewater sectors with multiple clients (e.g. Severn Trent, Scottish Water, Yorkshire Water, UU, Thames, Southern).
• Chartered status preferred; strong contracting/consulting background.
• Knowledge of civil design for water/wastewater systems incl. inlet works, tanks, chambers; HS&E and current standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design to GT process quality and in compliance with BMS and H&S regulations.
• Provide direction and mentoring to other engineers; support knowledge sharing.
• Govern discipline design activities and integrate with other design production activities.
• Support supply chain procurement activities and site activities where required.
• Lead and collaborate with design teams, attending relevant design and site meetings.
