Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support wastewater and clean water projects across the UK. The role requires leading civil design, coordinating with disciplines and the supply chain, and delivering construction-ready documentation.

Ideal candidates will hold a Civil Engineering degree, be Chartered or Incorporated, with strong water-project design experience and BIM tools proficiency, and be prepared to work under Inside IR35 in a hybrid/flexible setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with ICE/CIWEM/IWO.
• Strong technical design experience on water projects.
• Knowledge of Water Industry Clients and Contractors.
• Self-motivation, influencing and people management skills.
• BIM led design experience using REVIT and Civils 3D.
• Understanding of British Standards and UK Water Specifications.

Responsibilities

• Take a lead role on civil design and/or packages of work.
• Coordinate designs with team members and supply chain.
• Liaise with client, supply chain and stakeholders.
• Prepare high-quality design drawings and construction-ready documents.
• Develop design calculations, reports, drawings and deliverables.
• Support safety, quality and sustainability objectives.
• Mentor less experienced staff and promote continuous improvement.
