Mott MacDonald is seeking a Technical Principal to join our Civil and Structural Team within the Energy unit. You will lead design work on power plants, HV substations, and HV cable projects, and take responsibility for FEED, costings, drawings, and multidisciplinary coordination.

You will bring advanced structural engineering knowledge, experience with SAP2000/ETABS, BIM, and proven project leadership. The role offers a hybrid UK working pattern and opportunities to shape major energy projects

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartership in Structural/Civil engineering desirable.
• Energy project experience advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Project Management: oversee timelines, budgets, and quality.
• Project lead: take ownership of design and delivery.
• Proposal Writing and Cost Estimation: develop compelling proposals and cost estimates.
• FEED: lead Front End Engineering Design activities for structural components.
• Preparation of drawings for planning applications and tender packages.
• Detailed Civil/Structural Design and design coordination across teams.
• Preparation of Specifications for construction and procurement.
• Condition and Structural Assessment of existing structures for reuse.
