Job summary
Mott MacDonald is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Energy division in the UK. You will lead design on power generation, HV transmission, and related civil/structural projects, delivering FEED, drawings, specifications, and design coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
You will apply Eurocodes/ASCE knowledge, use SAP2000/ETABS, and drive project management and cost estimation while mentoring junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Experience with structural design and codes (Eurocodes/ASCE).
- Experience in energy projects is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Project Management across civil/structural designs.
- Lead FEED and cost estimation activities.
- Prepare drawings for planning/tender packages and specifications.
- Coordinate design across multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance.
