Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking Civil Engineers at multiple levels to join our Civil and Structural Team in the UK. The role covers power generation, HV substations, HVDC interconnectors, and cable projects, with opportunities for progression.

You will lead design tasks, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, prepare drawings and specifications, and contribute to FEED and cost estimation. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Education in civil or structural engineering with relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and codes.
• Experience leading civil/structural design tasks on energy projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out design work on power plants and HV projects.
• Lead FEED activities and prepare drawings/specifications.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects.
