Job summary

Aureol Global Connections is seeking a Civil Engineering professional to oversee surveying, setting out and quality control across major construction projects in the UK. The role involves coordinating with multiple disciplines, leading a team of engineers and ensuring Safe Systems of Work on site.

You will contribute to earthworks, substructures and building works using total-station and GPS, with travel to remote project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised higher education institution.
• Proficient in engineering surveying and setting out earthworks, substructures and building structures using total-station and GPS equipment as well as traditional manual methods.
• Able to undertake material take-offs from construction drawings.
• Ability and confidence to discuss engineering issues with people across various levels and disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control practices such as ITPs, checklists and records.
• Ability to promote Health, Safety and Environmental practices through Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
• Able to lead a team of engineers and mentor juniors, assisting in their personal and professional development.
• Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe practices and QA processes across site activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise performance on site.
