Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our OHL and substation structures team. You will support EPC delivery for SSE, SPEN, NGED and National Grid, with a pathway to Chartered status under UIPTD’s mentoring framework.

The role requires 5+ years in structural engineering, with knowledge of slender structures and BS EN 50341/ Eurocodes. We offer a structured development path, CPD funding, and a competitive salary in a UK-based office environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years structural engineering experience with slender, guyed or dynamically-loaded structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design of lattice towers, wood/steel poles; check calculations and drawings.
• Design and assess substation gantries and plant support steelwork.
• Deliver outputs within multi-disciplinary teams and attend client design reviews.
